As soon as the new project was announced, speculations were rife on whether most of the characters in the first episode will be back in the second one.
"Some of the characters, including the menacing villain John Honai (Riza Bawa), Sethumadhavan (Suresh Gopi) and Andrews (Sai Kumar) were killed in the original story. How can they be part of the sequel?," laughs the director.
Mukesh, who is the leader of the four member gang, says that "though our characters are much older and well settled now, our basic natures are bound to remain the same."
