Ten months after Kamal Haasan's Tamil film, Dasavatharam released in theatres, its Hindi version -- called Dashavatar -- is out. The superstar arrived in Mumbai with his family, to promote the film.
The film's director R S Ravikumar was also present at the event although the leading ladies -- Asin and Mallika Sherawat -- gave it a skip.
When asked why the Hindi version was so delayed in seeing the theatres, Haasan answered, "We should have come out with both versions together. The producer will be able to give you the logistical details."
Then, he added with a chuckle, "He was also the distributor and distributed about 636 prints. I think he needed two months of rest!"
