Even as final goodbyes are said and fans awaken in slow vigil to watch some of Newman's older films and glorify his incredible acting, everyone knows Paul Newman's memory will always stay alive.
Many years down the line, we can almost see a new generation of fans emerge, new admirers of a star long gone and an entirely new cohort of young women sigh as they look into Butch Cassidy's icy blue eyes.
Paul Newman will be sorely missed, not only by his family and close friends, but by anyone who loves the movies.
They don't make stars like they used to anymore, do they?
