'Hope Kidnap gets a good opening because of Imran'

There are a lot of reasons to watch out for Kidnap. To begin with, we will get to see the newest star on the block, Imran Khan, in a new avatar. Imran will shed his romantic Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na image for the role of a kidnapper.

Then, we will get to see Sanjay Dutt on the marquee after a long time. This will be the Munnabhai star's first film after his wedding to ladylove Manyata.

Then, there is the beautiful Minissha Lamba, who will don a tiny bikini in the film.

And then of course, is director Sanjay Gadhvi. Gadhvi is the man behind the blockbuster Dhoom series, and will now direct another action film.

Komal Mehta caught up with Gadhvi to know more about Kidnap.

What is Kidnap about?

Sanjay Dutt plays a character called Vikrant Raina, who is the world's richest Indian. He is divorced, and is now based in New York. He has not met his daughter for the last eight years. When she gets kidnapped, he comes to India to rescue her.

What Sanjay does to rescue her from Imran, the kidnapper, how far he goes, and whether he can save her or not forms the crux of the story.
