What was 'Dil' Raju's input as a producer? Would you see him on the sets? Was he hands-on as a producer?
He used to be on the sets most of the time. He never interfered in anyone's work although he was very involved in everything. He would discuss the scenes with all of us. He was in Vizag and Manali too.
So how was the whole experience of acting in Kotha Bangaru Lokam?
Fantastic. I think it's a boon that I have started my career with a wonderful project. I am enjoying the overwhelming response post-release.
Which means your acting has been appreciated…
The other day at the success meet in Hyderabad, Jayasudhaji said I was the life of the film. That meant a lot to me. It's feels good when your effort is recognised and appreciated. I'm enjoying it. I have been flooded with fan mails.
Do you have plans of doing any Telugu films now?
I do. But I have not committed to any right now as I have a Hindi project in hand. I am also concentrating on my Hindi career as I need to kick-start my career there. So let's wait and watch. I'll take each movie as it comes.
