The Bhatts have given breaks to many talents, including Mallika Sherawat. Though she had done Khwaish earlier, she got her big hit with Bhatt's Murder, opposite Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel.

When Bhatt offered her a role in his next film, Mallika demanded an astronomical fee. She has never worked with the Bhatts since.
