With a cast that includes Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya, Roma and Bhavana, it's virtually a coup of sorts for Shafi. Yes, Malayalam filmdom's young brigade has joined together for one of the most high profile projects of the year Lollipop, being directed by Shafi.

Lollipop, scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, speaks about siblings Franco and Jennifer. They are too fond of each other to the extent that they decided never to marry someone without mutual approval. The two became inseperable after they lost their parents at a young age. But as fate would have it, when they eventually found out their partners in life, it all goes against their original plans.

Prithviraj plays Franco who runs a workshop while Roma plays his sister, Jennifer a bubbly girl. Incidentally, Prithviraj and Roma were romantically inclined in Shafi's Chocolate last year, which went on to become a sensational hit.
