No film in the last few months has aroused the kind of excitement that Vaaranam Aayiram has managed to do.
It is true Gowtham Menon's films have aroused a lot of curiosity in the market whether it was Vettayadu Vilayadu with Kamal Haasan in the lead or Pachaikili Muthucharam with Sarath Kumar. He could manage to market his films as his own rather than on the strength of the hero.
His new Tamil film Vaaranam Aayiram is creating a lot of buzz mainly because it is the coming together of Menon with Surya again after Kaakha Kaakha.
