What is Dostana about?
The movie is about friendship but I can't say more. I'm not good with words. I'll shoot something straight from my mind.
What was the brief for Dostana?
I feel every film and every place gives you it's own flow. Every place has its own energy and that dictates what will happen. Dostana is based in Miami and to me Miami means sunshine and beaches. That is what stayed in my mind.
So I decided to stick to brightness. That is what the film is all about -- a nice comedy about friendship. Having a bright frame, I think subconsciously lifts everything; gives it vibrancy. That is what automatically gave Dostana it's expression.
