Vivien Leigh's Darjeeling link
Vivien Leigh was born in Darjeeling on November 5, 1913. She received her first Oscar in 1939 for her iconic role as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind.
She married Laurence Olivier a year later, and won a second Oscar in 1951 for her performance as Blanche du Bois in A Streetcar Named Desire.
