Aishwarya has bagged the other hugely-awaited Tamil film, Robot, starring Rajnikant. Helmed by Shankar, who had directed Ash in the Tamil film, Jeans, earlier, Robot is rumoured to make Ash the highest paid actress at Rs 6 crores.

Ash has been no stranger to South cinema. She made her acting debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar, in 1997, as well as the beautifully-shot Tamil film, Kandukondain Kandukondain and Telugu film, Ravoyi Chandamama.
