In the 2005 release The Ballad Of Jack And Rose, Camille broke out with an impressive performance, playing daughter to Day-Lewis' character. Critics gave her warm notices, and it was a formative experience for the actress, sharing screen space with the reticent and brilliant acting genius.
Also in 2005, Camille starred in The Chumscrubber, a well-reviewed dark comedy which only got a limited release. Directed by Arie Posin, the film, which almost constantly referenced popular video games, was a take on America's increasing reliance on over-the-counter drugs.
