The film has been produced by M.G.Vijay under the banner of Amma Films. The music director of the film is Kaithapram Viswanathan.
So what does Priyanandanan feel about the honour bestowed upon him?
"The jury must have been touched by the relevance of the theme -- which is about working for the benefit of the society -- and our efforts in portraying it. I wish the award would also help us to make the film do even better business," he says.
