What do you have to say about the trend of western music in Bollywood?
It is good. Last year as well as this year, Bollywood has given hit music. People have now started thinking outside the box. They are open to experimenting. Fusion is good or else you won't be partying to my songs.
Do you think reality shows actually pave way for new talent?
There is more talent in India than anywhere else. But talent is not everything. It's not only who you are but also who you know in the industry that matters.
Do you want to stick to rap or are you thinking of singing different kind of songs?
I am singing different kind of songs. Everyone is calling me a party chick. People think of me when they want to add masala to their songs. But that is not all I do. I do serious stuff as well. The track from Singh is Kinng is not masala. It is very real and controversial.
What are you going to do next on the personal front?
Apart from making albums, I am also taking up acting. There is a film being made on my life. If you are doing well professionally, you should do something for society too. I want to do something for children and the aged. The more I earn, the more successful I get and the more I can do something for the society.
