Kamalinee Mukherjee sure has a lucky streak.
The actress who made a mark with Anand, followed it up with Godavari -- both films by Sekhar Kammula.
Anand fetched her accolades and awards, and marked her arrival in the Telugu industry.
A cameo in Sekhar Kammula's Happy Days, a film in Tamil with Kamal Haasan (Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu) and a few more mainstream Telugu projects including the much-talked about film Gamyam, only cemented her status in the industry.
Now, Kamalinee will be seen in Shaji N Karun's prestigious Malayalam film Kutti Srank alongside Mammootty. Read on as she tells Radhika Rajamani about the film and more. Excerpts:
Are you happy that Gamyam has received critical acclaim and commercial success? It's perhaps one of the best movies so far...
I was pretty sure that Gamyam would do well. I am so glad the audience reacted the way they did.
