It has not been a very spectacular six months for Malayalam and Telugu cinema. Only a handful of films made the cash registers ringing; the others simply bombed at the box office.
The story is the same in Tamil cinema too. Here's a look at the five which fared better than the rest.
Dasavathaaram
Director: K S Ravikumar
Cast: Kamal Haasan, Asin, Mallika Sherawat
So much has been said about Dasavathaaram that there is nothing much to add. The film made big news all over India, like Rajnikanth's Sivaji did last year.
The only thing left to see is if the film will be as big a commercial hit as Rajnikanth's blockbuster.
