Righteous Kill
The poster is as stark as it gets. Film name and director name (Jon Avnet), on a black background, shadowed by two last-names: De Niro and Pacino. Whoa.
Robert and Al don't need no introducin', and while this is their third official film together (after Godfather 2 and Heat), you'd be hard-pressed to find a scene where they share space. Oh, that Heat restaurant scene with both of them was shot separately. So here's a chance for history as the man who made Fried Green Tomatoes gets them both aboard as veternal NYC detectives.
It's always fun when an indie director moves into crime drama, and another thing that makes this interesting will be that Martin Scorsese has a starring role. Talk about a big set.
