Just before 3 pm, Madonna's party stopped at a swanky multicuisine restaurant, Moshe's, in Cuffe Parade, South Mumbai. For an hour and a half, they sampled Moshe's menu over chai and white wine. They finished with a dessert course which included blueberry cheesecake that Madonna described as, 'Better than sex!'
After beating the media blitz outside Moshe's, Madonna travelled to Haji Ali dargah in Worli. The 550 year old tomb, which sits boldly by itself on an islet in the Arabian Sea, is perhaps Mumbai's most historic landmark.
It also plays an important role in Roberts' Shantaram. It seems that Madonna, who also visited the same slums in which Roberts once lived, was on a mission to recreate the magic found in the pages of Shantaram.
