Daughter of producer-director Ravi Tandon, Raveena did ads for pocket money. She got her break in Anant Balani's Patthar Ke Phool opposite Salman Khan, who had become a star after hits like Maine Pyaar Kiya and Baaghi.

Raveena went on to have a successful film career, and took a break after she married Anil Thadani in 2004, and had a daughter.
