It was a chance encounter with supermodel Mehr Jessia in Kolkata that got Bipasha introduced in the modelling world.

Mehr suggested that Bipasha take part in a supermodel contest (Godrej Cinthol). Bipasha did and won it. Soon, she bagged her first film, Abbas-Mastan's Ajnabee, starring Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor.

Since then, Bips has been trying to do different kinds of challenging roles. Her latest film is Race with Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Sameera Reddy and Katrina Kaif.
