From the film's promos, it is evident that you are trying to woo Kajol. Did those sequences remind you of your courtship period?
Ajay: We never had to put in so much of effort and hard work because the intention was not there. We developed a friendship first and when the relationship progressed, we realised it meant more. We never discussed where the two of us were heading. It was taken for granted.
Kajol: Yes, it was a long time ago. I can judge people very well and what I saw in him as potential at that time has realised itself. I respect the man he is today.
Kajol, which film of Ajay's did you like the best?
Kajol: Pyar To Hona Hi Tha was pretty good. Also, Company and Zakhm.
Ajay: She is fantastic in all her films, and she was superb in Pyar To Hona Hi Tha. I can't pick and choose. She has done well in all her films.
After Aamir Khan, you're directing a film. Do you think good actors become better directors?
Ajay: It's not like that. It all depends upon your thought process and whether you have those abilities or not.
Kajol, will you direct someday?
Kajol: No, never! I am only interested in acting.
