Directed by Vara Mullapudi, son of eminent writer Mullapudi Venkataramana, the film as the title suggests is about an incident onboard a train. Actor NTR Jr is said to have suggested the name of the film.

The film is produced by well-known director S S Rajamouli. Fellow director Chandrasekhar Yeleti has done the screenplay.

Allari Naresh, Rajiv Kanakala, Preeti Jhangiani and Sindhu Tolani form the main cast. Comedians Ali and Dharmavarapu also figure in the film along with Kota.
