We're almost halfway through August but Bollywood suddenly seems to be hitting overdrive, and as many as 10 relatively prominent releases squeezed in over the next three Fridays.
Here's a look at what's coming up.
Bachna Ae Haseeno
Release Date: August 15
Ah, the Ranbir Kapoor movie. A product of fantastic packaging, the tall and casually charming scion of the Kapoor family seems determined to keep reminding us of his legacy -- as if we dared forget. So while his first release had his character called Ranbir Raj, this one quite simply sees him as Raj.
Bipasha looks hot in the promos, albeit significantly older than RK, much better suited to Minnisha Lamba and real-life lover Deepika Padukone.
As for the film itself, it's directed by Siddharth Anand, the man responsible for films like Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum. The film's official preview notes describe Raj as 'the stuff of dreams, with the looks of a 'butter wouldn't melt in my mouth' good boy.' Um, okay. What about cheese?
