This Friday, a new reality show, Aajaa Mahi Vay -- Pyaar Ki Agnipareeksha, will premiere on television. But this promises to be a dance show with a difference. Here, the couple-contestants will compete with each other to win the wedding of their dreams.
So along with their dancing skills, the couples will also put their love towards each other, to test.
Popular television actors Ronit Roy, Shweta Tiwari and Apara Mehta will judge this show. We take a look at some of the contestants on the show.
Aslam Qureshi, 28, and Mayuree Chaddha, 25
An event manager by profession, Delhi-based Aslam completed his Masters in Business Administration in the US while Agra-based Mayuree is a creative director. Love blossomed between them seven years ago at an exhibition in Delhi. At the end of the exhibition, Aslam proposed to Mayuree.
When Aslam went abroad to pursue his MBA degree, they lost contact. Eventually, Mayuree got a job in Mumbai. But the two hooked up again recently, and are now looking to get married.
Why they joined the show: Aslam's family is against their relationship. Mayuree's family recently accepted Aslam -- when she introduced him as Amar. The young lovers, who drove from Delhi to Agra on their first date, have still not informed their families about the show.
