You have done about eight Telugu films in the last eight years. Are you comfortable with the language now?
Yes. I understand it but don't try to speak it, as I feel I may be made fun of. I prefer to be fluent with the language in order to speak it.
How has the journey been?
Amazing. I should say I am really lucky. People have never crossed the line with me; there has been no casting couch so far. Since my mother has been around me, things have been fine. I am also a no-nonsense person. I have achieved a lot for someone of my age.
Acting was never my dream. I have gone where life has taken me. Now, I realise acting was my calling and this is what I am meant to do.
Is Hyderabad a second home for you now?
Very much. I love the city and miss it when I am not there. During my stay, I am comfortable. I have bought property there as well.
