Tarun and you belong to the same generation. How did you get along with him?
The first schedule was formal and professional. From the next schedule onwards, we had a blast on the sets. Tarun is a fun-filled person, jokes a lot and makes people laugh. We had a lot of things in common and it was easy talking to him. We were just like buddies on the sets and we chatted a lot. It was reminiscent of college days.
So the friendship must have reflected on the screen too...
Yes, since we had a great time off screen, and it was visible on screen too.
The characters you played in Jalsa and Bhale Dongalu were very different.
Yes. In Jalsa, I could relate to the character. In Bhale Dongalu, I had to play this gorgeous character and I found it a bit difficult until I got used to it.
