What made you choose Tamanna as the heroine?
I had seen her Telugu film Happy Days and was quite impressed with her performance. I didn't see her over-acting even once in the film. She used her eyes to emote very well. I like such performers.
She has a good role of a student in Ayan.
Are you the film's cinematographer too?
No. M S Subbu, who had done films like Mahanadi and Ramana is taking care of that department. Both of us were assistants of P C Sreeram.
Is music very important in the film?
Yes, especially the background score as it's a commercial action thriller with logic, romance and comedy. So, I narrated the script to Harris Jayaraj too. Something happens there.
