On Onir's Sorry Bhai
After three years, I have become more mature. I understand things better. I was happy when (director) Onir looked me up and contacted me for his film.
I liked the script and decided to be a part of the film. I was happy that so many people wanted me back in the movies. When I left, there were hoardings asking me to come back. That was really satisfying.
The shooting for Sorry Bhai has been just completed in Mauritius. The film is about two brothers. I play Aliya, who falls in love with the elder brother but as the wedding comes closer, she meets the younger brother and falls in love with him.
On playing Chandramukhi in Sudhir Mishra's Aur Devdas
Sudhir Mishra's Aur Devdas is based on modern times. This Chandramukhi is not a prostitute but a high class socialite with political connections. She takes care of the investments of many politicians, and so holds power in her hands. Most probably, Shiny Ahuja will play Devdas. But that has not been finalised yet. The shooting for this will begin in October.
I have read more scripts but haven't decided anything yet.
