How did you convince Subhash Ghai to present this movie?

Actually, he convinced me to produce this. He wanted to do a Marathi film, as he had committed to do a Marathi film at an award function.

I got involved in it so that I could get Mukta's infrastructure and experience in making, promoting, marketing and publicising the film.

Are you acting in Kande Pohe?

No. I have my Hindi film commitments, and we want to release Kande Pohe in December. It stars Tusshar Dalvi and Shilpa Tulsakar (from Dombilivi Fast), Subodh Bhave, Sai Tamankar and Santosh Juvekar.

Does the story have something to do with the Marathi tradition of serving Kande Pohe when a boy comes to see a girl?

Yes. It is a nice social entertainer. It has comedy, drama amd emotion. It is directed by Rajeev Patil, who has done three Marathi films earlier.
