Gayatri Rao

Gayatri Rao is the babe of the girl's team. Just 17, Gayatri plans to do her BCom. She had to cut her long hair short for this film -- for which she even cried and did not speak to anyone for a few days.

Of course after acting in the film she has no regrets on doing so. And guess what? Acting is in her genes as well. Her mother has acted in the big and small screens. Gayatri did a few ad films as a child too. She is trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music and dance. Gayatri plays Appu, a 'tomboy' in the film.

I wanted to act in this movie because: I liked Sekhar Sir's movies.

Being together with the other cast was: fun. I learnt being independent. I am a pampered girl and learnt to live alone.

The most enjoyable moment during shooting was: actually after shooting was fun. We would play, dance, jump, etc, which re-energised us. I cannot forget those times.

The toughest scene was: when I had to write my exams in between the shoot and then get back to acting in the film.

This movie is different because: every one can relate to the characters in the film. Only Sekhar Sir can do this.

Shooting in a live college atmosphere was: Good. It was like going to an engineering college in real life. I was even asked to sign autographs and I didn't know how to do it.

My experience of this movie was: Good. I learnt many things from my co-stars.

Through this movie I have learnt: to be patient as I am short-tempered.

Acting to me is: just behaving.
