There's one burning question in everyone's mind: Will there be a third Munnabhai?
A 100 per cent yes! No doubt about it. We were always going to make a third film and nothing has changed that plan. But it might take some time. We'll begin the filming process by the end of 2008. The film should be ready for release by late 2009.
You debuted with Tere Mere Sapnay. How did that happen?
It's all thanks to (director) Joy Augustine. We met at a dinner party where he offered me the role of Ballu. I told him I wasn't interested but he wouldn't budge. He even asked for my portfolio.
I remember I'd sent him really amateur pictures but still, Joy was not put off. I got a call back. In fact, I didn't even have to do a screen test, the role was mine for the taking.
