And Sekhar has chosen rank newcomers whom he selected through a massive state-wide talent hunt. Choosing talent is a hard task. Nevertheless Sekhar embarked on this stupendous and difficult task as his script demanded it.
He obviously did not want to have known faces playing students. Thousands of applications poured in from different parts of the globe through post and email.
Out of 20,000, seven candidates were selected after tough auditions and photo sessions. The lucky seven who made it are Varun Sandesh, Nikhil, Raahul, Vamsee Krishna, Gayathri Rao, Monali Chowdhary and Sonia. These boys and girls were put through workshops and rehearsals on acting.
