Incidentally, Happy Days in a way is the harbinger of corporatisation of the Telugu Film Industry. For, in Happy Days Sekhar has corporates like Pantaloons, BIG FM and Reliance stepping in.
While Pantaloons helped in supplying about 1000 costumes and defined the look of the film, BIG FM helped in the talent hunt. Reliance is the media partner.
Happy Days is to do with the happy times one spent in college -- those years which are now embedded and entrenched in our memory. It brings back a sense of nostalgia every time one talks of it.
Happy Days is a student film no doubt, but not of the kind one sees albeit rarely in the film industry. This is to do with college life, relationships, friendships, teachers, freshers' parties, ragging et al. It's certain that everybody would relate to it in some way or the other.
