Meet Vikas and Amita Sethi, the only married couple on the television reality dance show, Nach Baliye.

You may know Vikas as Swayam in Kahin Toh Hoga, Abir in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Prem in Kasuati Zindagi Ki. His wife, Amita, is an airhostess.

Unfortunately, this pair will be voted out in this week's eliminations. But before they go, we quiz them about their experience on the show.

"We got a great reaction for our performance in the second round, and it's all thanks to our choreographer," Vikas says. "The dance was really tough; we did a western number with Indian dance steps. Though I have danced before, they were all filmi numbers. So it was new for my wife and me. Especially for her, as she is not a dancer."

The couple rehearse for two or three hours daily, and maintain a healthy diet.

The actor says he was pleasantly surprised when he got a call to participate in the third season of Nach Baliye. "I was glad to get the call from Star Plus but was not sure about my wife," he says. "But she was excited too!"

Vikas claims that the show's hectic schedule does not affect his other serials. "My production house (Balaji Telefilms) has been very kind to me. They have been very cooperative and enthusiastic about this," he explains. Amita has taken three months leave and says that her colleagues are very excited about watching her on the show.

Amita, on the other hand, is very excited about her outfits on the show. "Usually, I wear jeans and a casual top. But in this show, I get to wear different kinds of clothes and jewellery. It's a new experience," she says.

She adds that the judges were very kind during the first round. "I was very nervous at first. But when they learnt that I was facing the camera and performing for the first time, they were very generous," she says.

Vikas claims that he is not used to seeing his wife dance and sometimes, has a good laugh over her expressions. "I'm not used to seeing her doing all that!" he grins. "It's very funny. Two weeks ago, she banged my eye and I stamped her feet and broke her toe!"
