In Rajshri Films' family drama with a lesson, AB plays a jaggery seller. He worships everything beautiful as reiterated in the film's opening song, Har haseen cheez ka mein talabgaar hoon.

Unlike his legendary angry young man avatars, Saudagar has the legend playing a greedy and manipulative guy who decieves his plain wife to get rich and then marry another good-for-nothing looker.

What's truly interesting is his get up in a woolen beanie, earthy kurtas, braided belt and a check-print lungi carrying jaggery-filled matkas on his shoulder.
