Bhool Bhulaiyaa
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan. Shiney Ahuja, Paresh Rawal and Amisha Patel.
Director: Priyadarshan
Plot: A series of oddball events trigger off after a husband and wife (Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan) duo fly down from US to their ancestral haveli in India. That's when a maverick psychiatrist and family friend (Akshay Kumar) pitches in to solve the mystery.
Pros: Earlier remakes of the Malayalam super-hit Manichitrathazhu have proven to be successful in Tamil and Telugu as well.
Cons: Priyadarshan's last couple of releases (Dhol, Chup Chup Ke, Kyon Ki...) haven't been as fun as their promos.
