New York welcomes The Darjeeling Limited

The film opened in two theaters in New York following its premiere. Released by Fox Searchlight that had also distributed the art-house hit The Namesake, the new film took a strong $140,000 in two days. Come Friday, it will add over a dozen theaters as it continues to expand across North America.
