I -- then a teenager -- was looking for my friends to play; but it seemed everyone had disappeared. I wondered what was wrong. How could I not find a single one among the dozen or so of my friends who lived close by?

Finally, I sighted one of them. 'Where have you been?' I asked him, 'Where are the others?'

He replied, 'You don't know? Everyone has assembled to see Madhuri Dixit's film Dayavan.'

'Who is Madhuri?' I asked.

'You have to see her to believe it,' he replied.
