The film has a pretty impressive star cast with Indrajith, whose first big break was as the baddie in Vinayan's Oomappenninu uriyadappayyan. If Indrajith is playing the title role of Hareendran in this one, Jayasurya, the hero of his earlier film comes in as his confidant.
Manikkuttan, who was catapulted to instant fame by Vinayan in his Boyy friend (forget the spelling, it was done so for numerological reasons), is playing an engineering student turned journalist named 'Stalin' Alex. The dictator's name has been added thanks to his extreme fondness for the leftist ideology.
Tamil actor Bala, who was recently seen in films like Kalabham and Big B plays a police officer.
Bhama, who shot into fame with Nivedyam and the Tamil star Shirin comes in as the female leads.
