Dad came out after the screening of the film was over. I greeted everyone who had come for the screening, and then finally went to Dad thinking that while others have praised me, I would get my exact report from him. Dad just looked at me and said, 'now I think you know some acting' and this was a huge compliment for me. it was a big thing for me.

And how did you felt when Dara Singh hugged you and patted you on the back?

Our perception about Dara Singhji is that he is a strong and well-built personality, but he is so soft-spoken when you actually get to meet him personally. It's almost a shock. I still remember when were shooting a sequence with him for the film when he was supposed to say his dialogue to Geet's character. The exact lines were, 'Yahaan toh yeh aise kapde pahan kar aai hai, Mumbai mein yeh nangi ghumti hogi.' (If she's dressed like this here, she must be roaming around naked in Mumbai.)

I still remember when we were shooting and when Dara Singh Ji was rehearsing he often got stuck on this very line. I thought that that is he upset or is he feeling unwell? Then he called Imtiaz (Ali, director) and told him 'beta cant you delete this word nangi (naked) from the dialogue?' It really goes on to show that how soft personality he is. It was such a humbling experience to see such a larger than life persona being so humble. It was just wonderful.
