How did Rajnikanth contribute to the making of the film?
His biggest contribution was his smile and peace of mind. When he was on sets, everyone was calm and composed.
Did he give any suggestions?
No. He is a director's actor. He has a style of his own. He doesn't really interfere.
Did you feel comfortable with him during the shots?
I felt very comfortable. If I did a good shot, he was the first one to come and congratulate me.
Did you get to interact with him spiritually?
He doesn't impose his spiritual side on you. At the same time, he gives you valuable advice and talks about God. He is a well-read person and knows a lot about everything. You can talk about any topic under the sun with him.
Did he give you any advice?
He told me to keep my life as simple as I can and to enjoy what I have. He told me once that he had gone on disguise to watch movies and eat panipuri! He does all these simple things in life.
Any other tips?
Simplicity is what he always talks about. Sticking to your roots, not to be ashamed of where you come from. He said where you have come from is who you are even if you like it or not. One has to be in touch with reality.
