"I'm not a complete brat," she laughs, asked if she relates to her character in the film. "Close, but not completely."
In the culture-clash film, Katrina plays Jasmeet Singh, known to all as Jazz. "I could relate to her upbringing, you know? She's born and bred in London, and she knows what she wants. Also, most importantly, her parents tend not to dictate terms to her," she pauses. "Until her father eventually does."
And so it is that the London-lass comes to Punjab where she is paired with Arjun, played by Akshay Kumar and described bewilderingly in the promos as a 'Funjabi.'
"To say that we're opposites is an extreme understatement," Katrina says. "We're very different. It's a pretty crazy chemistry and I'd really rather you watch the film and react to it."
