History: Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain introduced the 'rock star' to Indian television. Ekta Kapoor's musical show about a rocking singer proved to be a hit with the masses and launched Srinagar boy Iqbal Khan as Angad the proverbial stud and rock star. He also went on to star in Karam Apna Apna.

The Rumour Mills: Iqbal was to don the Air Force uniform for a new show on Star One (Miditech's Sara Akaash 2) but was unceremoniously dropped from it at the last minute apparently due to Ekta's clout and binding tight policies with Star TV.

The Queen Speaks: Ekta verbally expressed her sadness for Iqbal's loss and went on record to say that she has not asked the channel to drop Iqbal.

She, however said that there is an official policy in all dealings between Balaji and Star which would make it nearly impossible for Iqbal to work with Balaji or the Star network if Iqbal decided to leave the Star-Balaji show.

Where are they now: Unconfirmed / no shows on air so far.
