History: Labelled the Shah Rukh Khan of Indian TV, he ruled the hearts of television audiences across the country with his portrayal of the charismatic Sujal in Balaji's popular soap, Kahin To Hoga.

The Rumour Mills: Rajeev proclaimed that being Sujal meant a lot to him but also maintained that he was not able to relate to the character towards the end and would thus fail while trying to convince the audience.

He maintained that money was never the criteria and that it was a creative call. He says that they have parted ways amicably although insiders suggest that Rajeev had become too big for his boots and was questioning every creative call from script to dialogue, which obviously didn't go down very well with the creative team.

The Queen Speaks: Ekta has made her stance pretty clear and has sworn to never work with Rajeev. A source claims that Rajeev still sends the queen messages and feelers to work with her.

Where are they now: The actor is reportedly quitting the serial Left Right Left and eyeing the big screen.
