Desi filmmakers have never shied away from employing videshi epithets for their movies. Like Paying Guest, CID, Guide, Gambler, The Great Gambler, Jewel Thief, to name a few.
Incidentally, all these films went on to be successful as well.
Romantic films too have made turned to English for inspiration and hence extensive use of the word 'love' in films like Love, Love, Love, Love in Tokyo/Shimla/Nepal, Love Marriage, I Love You, Love 86, Love At Times Square and the forthcoming Priyanka Chopra starrer which introduces Harman Baweja in Love Story: 2050.
There are quite a few releases with English titles lined up like My Name is Anthony Gonsalves and The Last Lear. And not to forget the Anubhav Sinha's upcoming Cash.
In keeping with the spirit of things rediff.com lists similar films with English titles.
