A Kannada version of Ishq
First things first. Snehaanaa Preethinaa is not a remake but an inspiration from the Indrakumar directed Hindi flick Ishq, which starred Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Juhi Chawla.
Not to be outdone, the Kannada version has two of the top stars in the industry -- Darshan and Audithya. The two childhood friends are working together for the first time in a film.
Snehaanaa Preethinaa is an important film in Darshan's career as many of his recent films have not gone well with his fans. It is as much crucial for Audithya too after a string of flops.
