Let's face it; Dave Matthews Band was one of the very, very few redeeming features for rock in the 1990s (if you mention Nirvana I will shoot myself). The Carter Beauford-Dave Matthews drums-acoustic guitar combo was one of the freshest sounds since rock dumbed down.
And in the very mediocre jam band scene in America, DMB totally stand out musically, though they embrace the touring and community building ethos of jam bands.
While they have great albums like Under the Table and Dreaming, live is where the DMB magic is really at.
