When I met him, he had some stubble. He had just finished shooting for Chak De India, so I asked him to keep it for a more macho look. I gave him a water pistol to add to his intense look.

I asked him to shoot himself with that so that a trickle of water came off. He was quite excited with the idea. Although he's such a good actor, and he's got so much creativity in him, he always asks me what to do. He's a director's actor, a photographer's subject. And he will give you whatever you want.

I wanted people to see actors in a different light; that's why it's a calendar and not a magazine picture.
