Not only did Jennifer Hudson (right) make an American dream come true when the former Idol loser won a groundbreaking Academy Award, but she also really shook a leg.

With 3-nominated songs -- none of which actually won Best Song -- the Dreamgirls ladies took to the stage. And, believe it or not, Hudson outdid Beyonce entirely, the spirit of the sassy young girl coming to the fore, egged on by her Oscar.

That, and her completely natural wow-filled acceptance speech, was truly something to remember.
