After Mission 90 Days brought in mixed response from the viewers, Mammootty is waiting for his next big hit and can the offbeat Ore Kadal works magic for him is the obvious question.

As mentioned earlier, the actor has got another film, Joshiy-Ranjith's Nasraniset for a Ramzan release after the film got delayed.

Ore Kadal boasts of some big names among its cast and crew, besides Mammootty. The film is being directed by Shyamaprasad and also has Meera Jasmine and Narain in the lead.

Mammootty will be seen in a different avatar where he even sports a beard. He plays a renowned economist in while Meera and Narain play a couple going through a rough patch in their marriage.

The film has been produced by Vindhyan and was shot in Chennai.
